Reviewed April 2007 An unusually expressive nose for a young Clos de Vougeot features attractive red berry fruits, earth, smoke and hints of game that continue onto the rich, full, sweet and utterly delicious medium weight flavors that possess real volume as well as excellent depth and length. This is a lovely wine that displays only a touch of the classic youthful austerity typical of this wine in its youth. Very solid juice and this will age as the balance is impeccable. 91-94 points
