Fuentecebolla 2023 is one of Bendito Destino’s most trusted plots, and one that consistently performs no matter the vintage variations! With very old vines, and predominantly Tinto Fino and indigenous whites as Albillo Mayor and Pirulés, fermented in open top fermenters with around 35% whole bunch, and the rest hand destemmed. This vineyard stands in the back of the village of Canalejas de Peñafiel, and it has the deepest soils (with limestone bedrock) out of all of Bendito’s plots. Known for its plummy character, 2023 averages 12% in alcohol with lovely vibrant acid. 646 bottles made.
