Planted in 1990 on schist and marl. En Billat shows beautiful aromas of small red fruits alongside subtle spice and floral notes. On the palate, it’s both dense and silky, with ultra-fine tannins. This Pinot Noir is grown biodynamically on soils rich in schist, giving it its distinct mineral edge. The nose reveals hints of undergrowth and wild strawberry, while the palate brings out a gentle herbaceous note with those refined tannins. It’s a direct, powerful, and enveloping wine – drinking beautifully now, yet with the structure to age for many years.
