Planted in 1977 on clay and limestone. Cuvée Julien is pure Pinot Noir and a truly original expression, crafted in the unique way only Jean-François Ganevat can. It matures in a reductive environment without any added sulfites, resting in his very cold cellar. After decanting, which is highly recommended, it shows a vibrant ruby red colour and quickly opens up with a full, expressive aromatic bouquet. On the palate, it’s direct and honest, with a supple structure and fine, delicate tannins that carry its harmonious mix of fruit and mineral notes beautifully.
