50% Sangiovese, 20% Trebbiano 20% Malvasia, 10% Moscato. 20 year old vines, yield 45 hl/ha. Grown on clay and limestone at an altitude average of 450 m asl. Plantation density: 6900 vines/ha.
The grapes are handpicked and selected to ensure an accurate degree of maturation and a healthy state (begin to end of September). Whole bunches softly pressed. Spontaneous Fermentation with Pied de cuve with the skins. Fermented and aged for 8 months in old oak, ceramic vats and concrete egg tanks. Natural stabilisation during the winter on total lees. No fining, wide filtration.

Pear, wildflowers and candied citrus lead, followed by sage from the Sangiovese, tomato water, fresh herbs and white peach. The palate shows great tension it’s salty, precise and very clean — with just a subtle touch of fresh vanilla. Light, vibrant and effortlessly fresh; a wine that pairs beautifully with almost anything.
