The sleek, delicious and impressively intense flavors culminate in a precise, focused and sneaky long finale. The 2019 Marsannay Rouge comes from domaine and purchased fruit from Pataille’s father. Plenty of crunchy cranberry and strawberry fruit that soars from the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with cranberry, raspberry and strawberry fruit, but its that chalky texture that really makes an impression. Very minerally on the finish. Drink 2022-2030. 89-91 points
