Steep, east-facing slopes and clay soils over hard limestone in this small parcel provide ripe grapes that are fermented as whole clusters with ambient yeast and remarkably little intervention. The result is slightly restrained and opens only on the palate with a bit of time. The texture is tannic, dense and very firm. A substantial wine that needs a bit of age. 94 points
