The 1972 Xavier Vignon Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a rare release, vinified in 1972 and left untouched for nearly 50 years in its original concrete tank before being bottled in 2020. It comes from a single domaine and is built on classic old-vine Grenache Noir (around 90%), with Cinsault, Grenache Blanc, and Clairette completing the blend.
