Planted in the 1960’s from Volnay and Pommard.
Produced under Fourrier’s Vigne Comte de Chapelle label, the wine draws on carefully selected sites from mostly the Côte de Beaune.
Wild fermentation, no sulphur during vinification and ageing in neutral oak allow the fruit to shine, keeping the wine fresh, pure and expressive. The 2022 is finely balanced, with bright red cherry, gentle spice and silky tannins, all delivered with an effortless lightness that never comes at the expense of character.
