2025 Les Horées Bourgogne Blanc Aganippe

$285.00

Wines will be ready mid to late October.
“Three years ago, I introduced readers of The Wine Advocate to the wines of Les Horées, the tiny wine project of Catharina Sadde, who worked at the likes of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, Domaine Marquis d’Angerville, and Domaine Cécile Tremblay, as well as taking a degree from Geisenheim, before setting up on her own with her husband Guilhem. This year, I once again tasted in the Saddes’ new and much more commodious cellars in Beaune, which have permitted expansion of their fledgling domaine. Vineyard work is organic and biodynamic, and winemaking features appreciable percentages of whole bunches, followed by élevage in used barrels—though the challenges of sourcing these can certainly be enervating for a producer anxious, as Sadde is, to avoid overt oak influence in her wines.” William Kelley from the Wine Advocate
