Côte de Feule is Pupillin’s most renowned vineyard, the village’s de facto grand cru. From south-facing vines planted in 1961, this is the cellar’s most inviting and approachable example of this fascinating grape variety when young. Beautifully perfumed and with a layered, juicy palate, the 2023 is a cracker.

The super perfumed and floral 2023 Ploussard Côte de Feule that I loved from barrel shows even better from bottle… delicate and elegant, flattering, with nice balance and a very savory mouthfeel and an almost salty finish. 95 points
