The Domaine Arnoux-Lachaux Bourgogne Rouge ‘Pinot Fin’ is made from old vines of a rare Pinot Noir strain called Pinot Fin, known for its small, thick-skinned berries that yield deeply aromatic, concentrated wines. The vines are organically farmed and worked entirely by hand, with cover crops, no herbicides, and minimal treatments to maintain vineyard biodiversity.
In the cellar, Charles Lachaux applies a gentle, natural winemaking approach: the grapes are largely fermented as whole clusters with native yeasts, extraction is minimal, and no pumping over or punching down is used. The wine matures in oak barrels (with little to no new oak) to preserve freshness and purity.
The result is a vivid and expressive Pinot Noir — silky, perfumed, and alive with red fruit, spice, and mineral tension — a stunning reflection of the Arnoux-Lachaux philosophy and the unique energy of Burgundy’s new generation.
