A fascinating field blend of Gewürztraminer, Sauvignon Blanc, Souvignier Gris, Riesling, Ruländer (Pinot Gris), Pinot Blanc (25%), and a mix of rare varieties including Assyrtiko and Petit Manseng. Grown at 500 meters on the steep, south-facing slopes of Unterinn on Renon Mountain, where weathered porphyry soils lend depth and minerality.
Fermented on skins in small 250L amphorae for 8–9 months, then matured for a further 2–3 years in cigar-shaped barrels before bottling. Unclarified and unfiltered, this wine captures both purity and texture in equal measure.
13.5% ABV | 15+ years ageing potential

Clear, brightening amber. Multi-layered and inviting nose, aromas of rose, apricot and peach, with a hint of anchovy. Delicately oxidative components, which are very well integrated, salty, has beautiful play, clear and straightforward, finishes on delicate metallic notes. 94 points
