Biodynamic since 2002 and organic.
The Terre a Mano Carmignano is 75% Sangiovese, 10% Canaiolo Nero, and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon. Grapes are hand-harvested, fermented spontaneously in glass-lined concrete vats, macerated for 15 days, followed by malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged 28 months in old 350L barrels on fine lees, then 6 months in bottle.

In the glass, it’s a deep, clean ruby red. The nose is subtle and elegant, with red cherries, wild berries, violets, tobacco, spice, and earthy notes. On the palate, fine tannins and bright acidity give structure, while a mineral backbone drives a long, persistent finish. At five years old, it’s just entering its ideal drinking window, with plenty of life ahead.

A blend of 75% sangiovese, 10% canaiolo nero, and 15% cabernet sauvignon from. Biodynamically farmed since 2002, Tuscany on song and a historic approach in tow.
Chewy, succulent and assertive tannin profile, but meshes beautifully into dark red cherry fruit, some raspberry, cola and sweet, leafy herbal notes. Flows beautifully and finishes with a squeaky of dried orange peel and light amaro-like characters. Tightly wound, wonderful expression, very good drinking. 94 points
