Fermentation occurs naturally with indigenous yeasts in cement vats, allowing purity of expression, followed by 12 months of aging in large oak casks. The wine is elegant and refined, offering aromas of red cherries, wild berries, violets, tobacco, and spice, with earthy undertones. Fine tannins, bright acidity, and a distinct mineral backbone provide structure, while the long, persistent finish reflects both balance and aging potential.

The 2020 Fattoria di Bacchereto Carmignano DOCG Terre a Mano is a true expression of its historic terroir, crafted from 75% Sangiovese, 10% Canaiolo Nero, and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon. Biodynamically farmed since 2002, the estate follows a holistic approach, preserving the land’s vitality. The vines, rooted in stony, calcareous-clay soils at 250–300m altitude, yield grapes that are hand-harvested for maximum quality.
