Domaine du Prieuré Roch was the passion project of late Burgundy visionary Henri-Frédéric Roch, a scion of the Leroy négociant family, who co-owned Domaine de la Romanée-Conti. Roch founded his domaine in 1988 with parcels of DRC. The estate now covers more than 14 hectares with a strong majority in Nuit-Saint-Georges. Situated within the appellation ‘Ladoix Villages’, the plot ‘Le Cloud’ covers 2.16 hectares of which 1.68 ha is planted with Pinot Noir and the remaining 0.48 ha with Chardonnay. The 2021 vintage is still in its youth and will benefit from longer cellaring.
